REGULAR READERS MAY RECALL POSTS ON MY TRIP TO CHINA LAST FALL. An unexpected and delightful adventure. Now, after several months of carefully putting the pieces together, the Chinese publisher (King-in) and I have concluded an agreement to publish 15 new or reconfigured books in China. This is exciting! Several of the books will be adapted from my EarthSongs, as music-literature interactive products. Everything will have a strong nature theme. It looks like I will be returning for another tour in June. So much more to learn and discover, and good work to do. Thanks to my new friends, Yun, Lucia, Jade-and-Beauty, and Mr. Ao for making this new adventure happen! The entire story will be detailed in my next adult-essay book, “A Wild Path,” with the University of Minnesota Press, now in progress.
