Church O’ The Pines this morning
THERE WAS NO POST from the Church O’ The Pines this morning, as I was visiting another sister church—the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of St. Cloud. There we had a lovely reading/signing/mini-concert and visited with old and new friends. One notices that a U. U. congregation is very nearly as nice as our Church O’ The Pines group. Well, maybe just as nice, but with not as many flashy dressers.
In any case, this left us time for a good late afternoon walk in the sun’s last rays, as shorelines and tree trunks and pine tops were gently illuminated. We were able to follow—on somewhat questionable shoreline ice—the tracks of fox and deer and in one place, perhaps otter—although melting and refreezing made a positive I. D. rather difficult. But no matter, it is always pleasant and educational to follow the comings and goings of our friends.
We hope your day was also a good one, and send belated sabbath greetings.
