Memories from Little Pink Notebook

MY BEAUTIFUL MOTHER JOYCE passed away two years ago on this day. In her honor and memory here are a couple more entries she saved in a little pink notebook, funny things her piano students said or did during her seven decades as a fabulous teacher:

A small boy came jauntily into the studio, held up his hands for me to see, and announced, “I’ve got my lucky hands on today!”
A little girl—I was to meet her dad at a small recital: “If you feel like he’s not hearing you, we have that problem at home, too.”
